My determination and drive helped me through high school, the love from my teachers also helped me so much. If  it was not for them I don’t think I would be here today typing this. Thank you!!! Now only having nine more days till I leave for c.o.l.l.e.g.e. I am so excited and ready, I am so determined to work hard and keep my head up. I know there will be times when I won’t to give up, but my dtermination and drive as well as the love  and support from friends and family will not let me.

I am going to make them all proud and myself. One person that I know will always be there and that is the man upstairs. So as I end this today, I just want to say that I am so ready to take on anything and I am powerful, strong, determiend, hardworking,loved.

I was tend to get that same question being asked at me “How tall are you?” I really don’t know because when I go to the doctor and he tell me. I don’t remember it. People have always said, you should be a model or a basketball player.

I just look at them, I could be a model but I don’t see myself  doing that. Basketball player I am not good at that, over the years I have learned to accept my height. God made me how he wanted me to look, not how I want to look.

So what you think?

“Sitting there just not able to speak with doctors”. With this hi-tech machine, it showed his brain. It was still functioning almost completely normally. With therpy he will be able to communicate with a computer. Which I think is cool.

Anything is possible, this man was in a coma for 23 years. Now wide awake WOW. Then you had this hi-tech machine that showe’s his brain. That shows you how technology is steady improving. I know he feel great just to no know that he is living.

I wish this happen to my cousin that passed away in 2003. He was in a coma and he never got out of it. He died, it would have been great if he would have got out of a coma. He is in a better place now.

Yes, I do understand that he has taken other people’s lives, but you can’t do for evil for evil. By him sitting in jail for the rest of his life, he can sit and think about all the lives he have taken. Giving the death penalty  is doing nothing but giving him the easy way out. I want him to suffer in  jail.

Instead of the govenrment focusing on whether or not people should get death, they need to be focusing on other issues like healthcare. He is going to die in jail anyway, so why not let him suffer?

 We are not God so we can’t say whether or not a person should die, only God can do that.

The motivate for the shooting was because he was going to get sent to Iraq.  Yesterday when I got home my grandma asked me did I hear what happen? I had told her no that’s when she told me about it. I was confused till I saw the news. It was sad he took away people that did not ask to die.

People that now have to leave children behind and love ones. I don’t think that he should have taken other people away. This reminds me of the Virginia Tech shooting. I think something needs to be done. When these types of people, join the force or even go to college. Should have some type of background check.

My heart goes out to the familes that now have to bury there love ones. Also Obama needs to do something and step in. Soliders over in Iraq and that are in other places should be sent back home. No one ask to go over there, it’s sad.

If my mother or one of my family members was to get sent over to fight. I would not know what to do, it would worry be to death. I would question myself, Will they come home safe? So I know what familes that do have family members over there have to go through. So What you think?

They not use to all of the technology or texting. That’s were we teens come in at. To teach our parents all about the technology, technology have really grown over the years. It will continue to grow.

If my grandma did text me during the day asking about my day and reminding me about things I need to do at home. It would not matter because I would rather for her to do it through text. Not me hearing her nag over the phone about things I need to do. So what you think?

In some cases when parents get invole with there education the student is most lackly to do well in school. But sometimes that’s not always true. Parents should go to meeting and call the school for updates on grades. It starts at home, if you have parents that don’t care and don’t even try to get invole with there children’s education.

So I do think that it is important to get invole all the time. What you think?

Normally the swine flu is contracted by person to person. Also not washing your hands. People coughing and then touching objects then a person touching it. It’s important for people to wash there hands all the time. You go out and come back in the house please wash your hands. So it’s important for people to wash there hands.

The swine flu can be found in many places around the world. One place that I have heard about was Mexico. No matter where you go, it’s important to wash your hands and keep away from sick people. The United States have had cases of the swin flu.

 It’s common for pregant women and also young children to get the swine flu. Where does it come from? It caused by influenza virus endemic (common in pigs) Why is the swine flu so stong? The flu is strong because it’s becoming more deadly. Like on the news recently that the swine flu is spreading in colleges and in other countries and states. So it’s getting deadly

Some facts about the swine is, blue mask can sometimes protect you from getting the swine. You just have to buy the right kind. Eating pork is safe? It’s not really based on the pork that people eat. It’s mostly spread from person to person.

What types of vaccines can people receive? Some vaccines would be Zanamivir along with one called Oseltamivir. These are two out of the other vaccines that people can receive. Most of these vaccines are found at your doctor office. Also in your local clinic. Most of the vaccines are free without no charge.

So in conclusion the swine flu is becoming deadly. We as people should really take this stuff serious. Wash your hands I can’t stress this  enough.

Five teens was also hit and died. In the article as stated “It may have been a part of a feud between two rivals” It could have been a drive by shotting or a gunmen from other neighborhood. There have not been an arrest in the case yet.

My heart goes to the family, I feel that no parent should been having to hear that news. That there 15 year old son have been killed on the way home from. It’s said it seem like nothing is changing in D.C. But getting worst, we as people need to do something.

As stated in paragraph two on the Washington post website “I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who’ve been honored by this prize” He told Rose Garden in the White House Friday Morning. But I have to disagree with Obama. I think he deserved to win the noble peace prize.

Since he has been in the white house he has worked hard trying to better this nation. Some people don’t think that he is moving fast like how they want him to. But come on now give the man a break. He is only person that can only do but so much. I am proud of him and happy for him. I believe that he will make this nation better and solve the issues and the problems. That America has been facing for sometime now. For example healthcare. Which all just need to give him sometime to do his job. The changes that we want him to make will not be changed in a day or a week. It will take sometime and hard work. What the public can do is. Is just being patient and wait for the changes to be made.
